1. Scope and acceptance of terms
These Terms govern access to GeoField GIS, a web-based service for managing land parcels, agreements, counterparties, documents and team collaboration. By registering an account or using the service, a user confirms that they have read these Terms. Users acting on behalf of an organization confirm that they have the necessary authority.
2. Provider and contact details
Geometer International LLC
Company registration number: 43223852
Registered address: 20 Slobozhanskyi Avenue, Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk Region, 49000, Ukraine.
Contact address for inquiries: [email protected].
3. Account, organization and employees
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of registration details, security of login credentials, assignment of roles and actions of authorized users. Data access is determined by role and permission settings. Employees should use individual accounts; sharing passwords is discouraged.
Separate workspaces for related companies may be used within one customer organization.
4. Subscription, pricing and trial
The public annual GeoField GIS subscription costs 360 EUR including VAT for 12 months of use. The plan has no separate commercial limits on land portfolio area or employee numbers. A 14-day free trial is available without requiring a payment card.
The subscription is paid in advance for the applicable 12-month period. Automatic charges are not made without separate agreement.
If the customer voluntarily stops using the service early for reasons unrelated to the Provider's breach of its obligations, the unused portion of the subscription fee is generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by the agreement or mandatory law. If the service was not provided or failed to meet mandatory legal requirements or agreed terms, the customer may seek remedies available under law. Payment-related inquiries are considered individually.
5. Who the subscription is intended for
The subscription is intended for one organization or a group of related companies. Using the service to manage data for unrelated third parties may require separate terms.
Consulting firms, land agencies and other intermediaries managing records for unrelated customers must agree on the relevant usage model with the Provider. The mere fact that several legal entities belong to one group does not constitute a breach of these Terms.
6. Customer data and ownership rights
The customer retains rights to data and documents lawfully entered into GeoField GIS. The Provider receives only the rights to technically process, store, transmit, display and back up such data as are necessary to deliver the service.
The customer is responsible for the lawful entry of personal data concerning landowners, counterparties and employees, as well as the accuracy and currency of that information. GeoField GIS does not automatically verify ownership or lease rights to land parcels and does not replace official state registers or legal due diligence.
7. Acceptable use
The service must not be used for unlawful activities, unauthorized access, uploading malicious files, infringing third-party rights, circumventing security measures or deliberately creating excessive load. The absence of plan-based limits on hectares and employees does not eliminate reasonable technical restrictions on file size, request frequency, concurrent processing and security.
The Provider may temporarily restrict clearly harmful activity to protect the service and, where possible, notify the customer and suggest a way to restore normal operation.
8. Availability, changes and support
We aim to keep GeoField GIS operating reliably, but scheduled maintenance, updates and temporary interruptions may occur. The service may change to improve security and functionality. Specific availability guarantees (SLAs), support response times and individual terms are established by separate agreement, where concluded.
9. Security and backups
We take measures to protect data in transit and at rest, manage access permissions and create backups. However, no information system can guarantee absolute protection against failures or losses. Customers are advised to keep administrator contact details up to date and, where the feature is available, periodically export critical data.
10. Subscription expiry, account freezing and data deletion
If a subscription is not renewed on time, the organization's workspace and its users' accounts are frozen: access to GeoField GIS features is suspended, but the organization's data is retained for 180 calendar days after the subscription expires.
During this period, the customer may pay to renew the subscription and restore access to the data. The customer may also contact support with an individual request to export and transfer its data. Exports are performed after verifying the requester's authority, subject to technical feasibility and personal data protection requirements; no self-service export portal is provided.
On the 181st calendar day after subscription expiry, the customer's workspace data is permanently deleted. Once deleted, recovery is not guaranteed and is not offered as a service. The customer is responsible for renewing the subscription or requesting an export before the 180-day period ends.
These deletion provisions do not override mandatory legal retention requirements for certain accounting, payment or other records.
Encrypted backups are not used for routine data operations and are automatically deleted 14 days after creation. Due to the technical nature of full backup archives, data deleted from the live system may remain in such archives for no longer than this limited period.
11. Liability and governing law
The parties are liable in accordance with applicable law and their agreements. Information in GeoField GIS is a recordkeeping tool and does not constitute legal, cadastral or financial advice. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
These Terms are governed by Ukrainian law. The parties seek to resolve disputes through negotiations and written communications. If no agreement is reached, the dispute is heard by a competent Ukrainian court in accordance with the jurisdictional rules established by Ukrainian law.
12. Changes to the Terms
The current version of these Terms is published on this page. Users should be notified in advance of material changes affecting active subscriptions, in the manner required by the agreement or law.
